The aim of this blog is to share experiences of an Occupational Therapist and a registered Pets as Therapy dog working in various areas of practice. The aim of all our practice is to include all people and give them the opportunities to engage in therapy; especially if they generally have difficulty accessing, or consistently using services. We aim to think outside the box and recognise people as individuals, ensuring they are provided with meaningful experiences of occupational and animal assisted therapy which bring a glimmer of hope to their lives.
